Kyung Hee University’s Korean Buddy(Helper) System
Students learning Korean can meet with Korean students and have the chance to learn language authentically through
conversations and receive support for their studies and everyday life here in Korea.
Various Cultural Programs
Kyung Hee University provides various programs ranging from Taekwondo to Korean in Music, Korean in Movies and
Korean Calligraphy.
Excellent Location and Service
Kyung Hee University is situated 30 minutes away from places such as Myungdong or Jongro which is located in the
center of Seoul. Kyung Hee University’s campus is also a famous location which frequently appears in movies, dramas, and
commercials.

- Entry Requirement: Foreigners and non-native Koreans (18 years +)
- Korean Language Classes will be four hours long, from Monday to Friday.
- Integrated classes focusing on utilizing vocabulary and grammar to improve general communication skills
- Focus on specific language skills depending on individual students’ progress
- Average 15 students per class
- There are elective courses

Field Trips & Extracurricular Activities

Field trips: Nami Island, Everland, pottery making, Korean Folk Village etc.
Activities: temple stay, Korean paper craft, making kimchi, attending performances

Application Process

* It generally takes approximately a month to process a visa application

- An ORIGINAL copy of your diploma
  or enrollment certificate

- A copy of the first page of your  passport

- Bank statement of your own showing   minimum balance of USD 3,000
  * The statement under one of your   immediate family members name is acceptable, but you need to submit a certified document which shows he/she   is your family immediate member
- A reference letter (Certain countries’s  citizens do not submit the letter. Please  make sure to call your local Korean consulate for further information)
- An original copy of referee’s employment  certificate or business registration certificate
* Different documents are required for those applying for a visa.
